The EMSI training that you are about to undergo is a comprehensive training course which covers the various components of the EMSI General Corporate Privacy and Security Training Program.
The primary objectives of General Corporate Privacy and Security include the following:

To provide education and awareness training to all of its employees and other members of the workforce toward protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and technical security of all private and confidential information.
The privacy and confidentiality awareness training will include but may not be limited to an explanation of laws associated with our industry, privacy and confidentiality, forms, policies and an understanding of the information systems of EMSI.
The awareness training shall explain why EMSI has established a compliance program and will emphasize the importance of its employees' role in ensuring the security and confidentiality of private and confidential information.
The awareness training shall also inform each employee of the disciplinary guidelines and measures that may be taken against employees for violating the privacy and security procedures of EMSI.

The EMSI certification program requires you complete the following steps:

An On-line Training Guide which covers the various components of EMSI General Corporate Privacy and Security Policies.

Upon completion of the Course and Examination, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement.

Lesson 3: Knowledge of the EMSI Privacy and Security Officers and Their Roles
Lesson 4: Unauthorized Disclosures and Requests for Information
Lesson 5: Minimum Necessary, Authorizations and Complaints
Lesson 6: Destruction of Confidential Information
Lesson 7: Physical Security
Lesson 8: How to Ensure Security While Using Information Systems
Lesson 9: Access Code Confidentiality and Password Securities
Lesson 10: Sanctions and Termination Procedures
Lesson 11: Evaluation and Conclusion
Post Test: Certification of Completion
